When taking two or more tile types up a wall to the ceiling make sure the thickness of the all the tiles are compatible and or that there are complimentary transition pieces to give the install a truly finished look.

I was planning to put our tile up to chair rail height on every wall with a cap or bullnose on the top.
It would need to extend all the way down to the marble sill which would mean removing tile then cutting and reinstalling it after the trim is up as marksr is suggesting.
Think about hardware such as towel bars toilet paper holders mirrors etc.
Then outside the bath area tiling half way up the room or to the height that makes it look good around the window sils.
Do i need to put tile trim on top of the last row of tiles or do people usualy just grout were the last tile ends.
However on the side of the recess i only want to go partway up.
You definitely would not put trim above the tile only.
I think it looks just fine the way it is.
